Relinquished Deck
Playing with relinquished is a lot of fun, and he is my main strategy in my Spellcaster deck. Here are some necessities for running with Relinquished.
- Gold Sarcophagus: Select and (banish) remove from play 1 card in your deck. During your second standby phase after this card’s activation, add the banished (removed) card to your hand.
- Different Dimension Capsule: (same effect as Gold Sarcophagus)
Using these helps play Relinquished a lot faster.
- Spellbinding Circle: Select 1 monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the selected monster cannot attack or change its battle position. When the selected monster is destroyed this card is also destroyed.
Use this card to ensnare your opponent’s highest attack point monster, saving it for Relinquished to take over.
- Magic Cylinder: Negate the attack of 1 monster your opponent controls and inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK.
This card would save your Relinquished when it has no monster equipped to it.
- Relinquished: (Attribute – Dark) (Level 1) (Spellcaster/Ritual/Effect) (ATK/0 DEF/ 0) Select 1 monster on your opponent’s side of the field and equip it to this card (this effect can only be used once per duel, and you can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card). The ATK and DEF of this card becomes the same amounts as the monster equipped to this card. If this card is destroyed as a result of battle, the equipped monster is destroyed instead and any battle damage you received from the battle is also inflicted to your opponent’s Life Points.

Machine Decks
Machine Decks are often difficult to build, and in my opinion are the most difficult to build. So what most people do is they go into building the machine structure decks such as: Ancient Gears, Genex, Cyber, Morphtronics, and etc.
- The main strategy of the Ancient Gear deck is around preventing the opponent from utilizing their trap cards during the battle phase.
- The main focus for the Genex deck is fast summons, and destruction.
- The main focus for the Cyber deck relies on its ability to fusion summon.
- The over-all strategy for the Morphtronic deck is in its battle position shifting ability.
These decks are fun to use, but going about building a machine deck is a tad bit difficult. I recommend using one of the afore mentioned decks.
